A Followup

As of 7:35am Friday morning, I have accrued another niecebeast.  

Nearly eight pounds, with dark and seemingly-curly hair — and, according to her father, grumpy.  Like her sister, she seems to prefer being curled up snugly in blankets.  Unlike her sister, she apparently raises all unholy ruckus when not adequately bundled.   

But all the required organs are there and functional, everyone’s doing okay (though very sleepy,) and the first-niece is quite excited to be a Big Sister, like her mama was.  

So, good luck with life, new small female human creature!   May it treat you awesomely, or at least decently, for at least a whole lot of the time.
